Churu: 10 pilgrims injured on way to Tarapith



Dumka (Jharkhand) (PTI): At least ten pilgrims to Tarapith Kali temple were injured, three of them seriously, when the bus in which they were travelling overturned in Massangore area of Dumka district on Monday.
They were proceeding to the temple in neighbouring West Bengal from Basukinath Temple here, when the driver lost control and the vehicle shot off into a paddy field, police said.
The victims, hailing from Nage, Churu and Wali districts of Rajasthan, were on a pilgrimage to various temples in the region during the auspicious Hindu month of 'Shravan'.
Ten of the injured were admitted to Dumka Sadar hospital and the condition of three was stated to be serious.
